If you are concerned about press freedom and free speech, do protest against the malicious prosecution of Julian Assange, Wikileaks founder/journalist. Sign a petition, donate to the campaign if you have money or the least you can do is educate yourself in the matter.

His extradition trial continues today in the United Kingdom, and if convicted, he would languish in a maximum-security prison for at least 175 years. The crime? The US is charging him for obtaining and publishing classified information, and conspiracy to crack passwords on government servers. Truth is, Assange exposed US War Crimes and human rights abuses, which up to this day, no one has been convicted.

US War Crime

- Here’s an excellent overview of the Assange case and mainstream media (MSM) complicity in vilifying him.

- Read up also this comprehensive piece that debunks all the smears against him.

- Watch this documentary.

2. Sign a petition.

3. Donate to his partner’s Stella Morris campaign
